Meet the Parents

These are the snakes
Familiar Folx is committed to making healthy and sustainable choices for our captive-bred pythons and that means you will never see us deliberately breed a debilitating morph. When we rescued a beautiful spider morph, we searched for and found him a home as a pet. Our snakes get the best husbandry we can offer them, backed by current science. We handle them regularly so that when you get a snake from us, you know it’s ready to become a much-loved part of your family.
When we refer to our snakes, in our YouTube videos or on our blog, we will generally try to use their names as well as their morphs. We hope that you will join us on all our social media platforms to get to know us and the snakes that make Spartan Pythons beautiful.
About our snakes
Every snake owned by Spartan Pythons and Familiar Folx is cared for in our home and considered part of the family. Each member of the family is involved in everything from naming the snakes to husbandry and snake enrichment. We believe that owning reptiles is a privilege. We want our snakes to be healthy and find homes where they can thrive. We think every one of them is beautiful in their own way.
We are committed to only healthy breeding practices and will not breed for certain genes because they are not in the best interest of the snake. That said, we love beautiful morphs and can’t wait to see what these amazing employees will create for us.

About Us
Familiar Folx joined Spartan Pythons in late 2024 and GT handed the reins to Elijah Nyx, who you will now see at shows and on the channel! Elijah handles the business side of things while Beatrix does the majority of the day to day care. If you have any questions about our snakes, please reach out to us at FamiliarFolx@SpartanPythons.com

Potential Parents
It’s breeding season at Spartan Pythons and we want you to get a first look at some of the wonderful snake pairs that we hope will be parents to our next clutch of amazing snakes. Our female parents will be on the left and the sires on the right. Feel free to jump on our social media and tell us which snake pairing you are most excited for! Click on the links below to see our breeding pairs or scroll down to see our very first pairing.

Millie and Blitzo were our first ball pythons here at familiar folx, along with Moxxie another yellow bellied het piebald. The three came from Spartan Pythons and were going to be our first foray into breeding. We’re hoping these two and Moxxie will give us beautiful pumpkin pied hatchling in a few months.
